The Kreeger Museum is a private, non-profit art museum located in the former residence of David and Carmen Kreeger. Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, it showcases the Kreegers’ permanent collection of 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures. Reservations are requied for admittance Tuesday-Thursday. They are open 10am to 4pm Friday & Saturday. The museum is closed Sundays, Mondays and the month of August. The Kreeger offers family programming, specifically children’s storytime for ages 3 to 5 every first and third Wednesday and every second Saturday of the month. They also have programs for older children throughout the year. Reservations are required for all activities.”
