The Equipment When you enter the small park, on the left are a trio of rock boulders allowing for creative play. There is only one play structure and it contains a steering wheel, suspension bridge, two types of chain climbing apparatus, low monkey bars and three slides (two curved ones and a spiral slide). Surprisingly there are no bucket swings, but there are two regular swings. The Scene This quaint little park is located in the Maywood neighborhood. There was a preschool class present during our visit. The playground is fenced in, which is a relief to parents of little ones. Part of the area is concrete, which is great for the donated ride-on toys that are there. The actual playground is covered in mulch except for the sandbox area. There are plenty of benches plus two tables to play checkers. Age Recommendation 2 to 5 Restrooms None available. Review and photos by Kathleen Molloy on September 29, 2015.
