Levine’s Early Childhood and Elementary Music (ECEM) department is a leading musical education program conducted by university degreed instructors and has served as a training ground for teachers throughout the region. Classes includes Music Time for Baby (4-12 mo), Music Time for Toddlers (1-2 yrs), Singing Games (2-3 yrs), Adventures in Music (3-4 yrs), Exploring Music (4-5 yrs), Discovering Music (5-6 yrs), and Musical Journey (Grades 1-2). They also offer a Dalcroze based series, MusiKinesis TM , for ages 3 to 11 and children ensembles such as a Children Choir and an Orff Ensemble. Suzuki, traditional and group instruction is available on twenty-two instruments and voice as well as its popular Summer Music and Arts Day Camp. Levine School of Music also has a Music Therapy department — where they use music as a tool to help individuals – from children to seniors – transform and improve the quality of their lives, while addressing each individual’s unique emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs.
