Children’s Chorus of Washington is a world-class choral music education program open to children from the greater Washington area, ages 9-18, who love to sing. All interested children are invited to audition for one of three performing ensembles. Choristers rehearse twice-weekly, perform with the National Symphony Orchestra and adult professional choruses at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, Music Center at Strathmore, Library of Congress and embassies. Now in its 17th season, the Chorus produces its own concerts and tours domestically and internationally. Founder and Artistic Director Joan Gregoryk is internationally recognized as a leader in the field of children’s vocal music and her choruses are known for their program and artistic excellence.
